I designed the original board while on location in Vancouver, BC shooting the film PAYCHECK.  Much of the design was done while sitting on a director's chair with my notebook computer in my lap.

There are 4 major errors.  All of the boards should have these trace errors already corrected.

PCB 011 Errors
(as of October 1, 2003)

  1. One of the Q's has the emitter shorted to the base.  A trace should be cut and put a jumper from one of the Q's to 5vdc should be installed.
  2. A trace bumps into a hole near SW-1.  It is now cut and there is a little jumper wire bypassing the problem.
  3. Pin 9 of uln2003 needs to be tied to +12 for diodes protection to be active on relay coils.
  4. WOW  The relay outputs are messed up...... One of the sides of the NO relay for thru is swapped with out on both #1 output and #2.  All "May 2003" boards should have jumper wires on the solder side of the board correcting this "trace error".
